「歩望」で「あゆむ」と読ませるのは難しいでしょうか?

2週間後に男の子を出産予定です。

旦那さんが、子供が出来る前から
男の子だったら「あゆむ」と名前をつけたいと言っていたので
読みは最初から決まっていました。

「歩」という漢字を使いたいという
旦那の希望も決まっていたのですが

漢字を決める段階になり
「歩」一文字にしようと思ったのですが
苗字との姓名判断の相性が最悪で・・・

「歩○」という事にしようとなりました。


未来に夢や希望を~という意味を込めて
「歩夢」にしようと8割方決めていたのですが

旦那の母親は「夢」という字は
意にそぐわないらしくイイ顔をされませんし、
周りにも「女の子っぽいね」と言われ
また漢字に悩みはじめました。


そこで、近い意味の
「望」を使って「歩望」で「あゆむ」と読ませるという案が出てきたのですが
「望」という字自体に「む」という読ませはありません・・・

「のぞむ」と読むのでなんとなく「歩望(あゆむ)」で
読んでもらえるのでは?と思って今第一候補になっているのですが、
無理があるでしょうか?


ちなみに、
「望」という字の名乗りに「み」があるので
一番今後間違われるとしたら
「あゆみ」になるかと思います。

歩夢・歩望

候補は二つとして、
・お姑さんの意見を無視し、読みを優先して「歩夢」とつける
・男の子だからニュアンスで「あゆむ」と呼んでもらえるだろうと
「歩望」をつける

姓名判断無視で「歩」もアリなのかとは思いますが
あまりにも悪いことばかりでちょっと気になったのと
両家の両親が画数等気にするもので・・・

ホモの意味を理解できる頃にそんなくだらないことを言う人はいないだろうということですが、いると思 います。中学生ならホモの意味を理解しているでしょうし、大人になって職場で口の悪い上司が「おい、ホモ!」ということも十分考えられると思います。それ 以前に、ホモとも読める名前をお子さんが気に入ると思いますか?あゆむと読むのは無理がありますが、ホモとは何となく読めます。悪い意味で読むほうが自然 な名前を、いい名前をつけてもらったと思うでしょうか?

中学生になって、万が一「ホモ」といわれたとしても
それに本気で悩んでふさぎこむような子供に育てたくはないですね。

これは子供の性格によるとは思いますが(笑)

もしかしたら「なんでこんな名前をつけたんだよ!」と
子供に逆上される日が来るのかもしれません。

でも、そこには私達の思いが込められている事
それをきちんと伝えてあげられればと思っています。

悪い意味で読むほうが自然な名前

本当にそうでしょうか?w
「ホモ」に見えるかもしれませんが
「ホモ」と読むのを自然と感じるという価値観に
私は人として薄いなーという印象を受けます。

質問の漢字を見た段階でどう読むんだろうと想像してみたんですが、ごめんなさい、やっぱり「ホモ」としか読めませんでした。私が男でまだ大学生だからかもしれないですが…。
私の名前も苗字は平凡ですが、名前がかなり珍しいです。少なくとも私と同じ漢字の人を見た事がありません。ですが、単純な漢字の組み合わせなので、幸いに も読み違えされたことはありません。ですが、今も人に名前を呼ばれる時、「間違えられるんじゃないか…」とドキッとします。
名前の読みって結構重要な気がしますよ。僕も同年代にありがちな名前だったら一々ドキッとする必要もないのになあ、と思ったりして。
しかも歩望君だったら下の方が仰るように、男の子ですのでからかわれる可能性高いと思います。総合的に「歩」に一票です。ご参考までに。

読めるか読めないかで言えば,なんとか思いつく読みの範疇です.
実際,子どもの幼稚園のお友達の名前は,読めない,何考えてるんだ親は,のオンパレードで,歩望なんて,字面だけでもふつうなんでインパクトのかけらもありません (^^;
もちろん,子どものお友達の名前も,親御さんの気持ちはよくわかる名前ではあるんですが,さすがにこの字でこの読みはないだろうとか,かわいいけど,大人 になってもこれかい,と思うような名前は,もう珍しくも何ともないです.ごくふつうの話になってしまっているので,どんな名前が付けられても,もう何の問 題にもならないんじゃないの,と思います,ほんとに.
私は子どもの名前を考えたとき,音はわりとさっと決まりましたが,字をどうするかはそれなりに考えたあげく,小学校低学年くらいで書けそうな漢字である (自分の名前が画数がめちゃくちゃ多く,名前以外ではまずみないような漢字なので,そういうのでないようにしようと),音が女の子っぽい名前なので,字面 はあんまり女の子っぽく見えないような字にしよう,というような基準で選びました.
画数なんていまだに見てませんし,見る気も,たとえ見たとしても,気にする気も,かけらほどもありません.
親 (かみさんの方も) に意見を聞く気など微塵もありませんでしたし,親が子どもに上げる最初で最大の贈りものなので,いろいろな意味で親が熟慮した結果であればそれでいいのだと思います.

名前というのは流行がどうしてもあります.
私が子どもの頃,「~すけ」という名前はもうほとんど見かけませんでした.古くさい印象でしょうか.私はそういう名前だったので,小学校の頃は結構名前でからかわれました.でも,ある程度からはそういうこともなくなりました.
子どもの心ないあれこれまで気にしてもしょうがありません.大事なのは,名付け親の心が伝わるような関係を作っていくことで,親が名前に込めた意味や気持 ちがわかるようになれば,子どもはどんな名前でもわかってくれますし,他の子どもも,自分の名前に込められた意味や願いを意識できるような年頃になれば, 他人の名前をからかうなんてこともなくなります.
歩望という名前についての最終判断は,親御さんがつけるしかありませんが,深読みしすぎない方がいいです.
