4channel has 150 threads dedicated to My Little Pony right now (barring the off-topic threads) and no good discussion is to be had? That's a shame. MLP seems like the sort of IP that could easily sustain an anonymous community, maybe one that isn’t full of rude posters like /mlp/ on 4channel seems to be. I wouldn’t want to host that myself even if I were interested in the IP, though. I’ve seen so much hate directed to MLP that I would imagine an alternate community would be under constant attack by spammers.
I have noticed 4channel posters are very hostile towards posters who suggest taking things “offboard” as well. Perhaps rightly so at this point with how Discord has sapped so much attention away from imageboards. Many posters on 4channel aren’t too terribly interested in slow discussions on obscure websites.

Be patient, but respect yourself, Anonymous! Posters on 4channel like to be dicks because that’s what’s fun and what gets responses, the culture itself is a little rotten. Also, I think blogging is probably fine here, the whitelist seems laid back.
