A neat imageboard oriented toward women, try lurking for a bit.
Compare with crystal.cafe, has a relaxed atmosphere. Don't go to /ex/ and especially don't go to /fr/.
Yahallo frends~
Everyone probably already knows of https://wiby.org/ but I'll drop it anyway.

Hello friend, is that site hosted on several Dell Optiplex workstations? Absurd.
Lambdaplusjs is a pretty neat site that has a /math/ board. The site also allows for arbitrary board creation as long as the board name is 4-16 letters. The code running the site is slick!

Nameless Rumia's Wiki is nice
https://namelessrumia.heliohost.org/w/doku.php
It has good articles on both imageboard and textboard scripts.
Backlinking 4channel's /g/ and their discussion on imageboards for fairness:
https://boards.4channel.org/g/thread/87831790
So many would-be imageboard creators are terrified of CP, rightly so I would imagine.
https://kissu.moe/qa/thread/4165
kissu.moe's discussion on current imageboard events. Fortunately this site will never be mentioned since it lacks an imageboard heh heh.
They have the best bricks on the internet.
SchemeBBS is just plain neat!
1chan still exists, I hope you enjoy trains:
They also have an ancient directory for messageboards, depressing link rot...

Might as well post this, enjoy your massive link lists:

I want to hate CHANVERSE, but I just can't. Its navigation beats the hell out of the old frame method for browsing multiple sites. HTTPS still trips things up though, unfortunately.
https://wiki.bibanon.org/4chan/Successor
Bibliotheca Anonoma's article on developing a successor to 4chan, it's an interesting read! There are a handful of other articles on the wiki as well that are worth perusing, including their massive 4chan history article.
bibanon really takes me back! their github organization linked above has a few archiving tools. surprised how active things still seem to be, but i suppose there will always be history to archive. maybe i'll get into archiving, too...

Everything Shii Knows! Hopefully Shii doesn't find out I posted this!
I can't vouch for the site but the CSS is very pretty.

Thank you to whoever owns these domains, I appreciate your archiving efforts.
The people on Neocities seem really obsessed with Lain... 😅
fatchan.org is dead. A perfectly suitable demo for jschan is now gone, what a shame.
observing an indistinct mote of an imageboard spawned from 4chan's /d/. good luck admin!
I wonder what used to be here?
I appreciate their shitposts, a nice little culture.
A cute mascot, Persil!
Whoa! This is a very nice textboard engine, thanks for sharing this website on the /g/ personal websites thread! Here's my site, I hope it's interesting enough for the thread. ヽ(´ー`)ノ It has a textboard too, in English (sorry, most of the website is in Spanish), maybe that might interest you guys.

They were quick to link back, into the sovereign friend list they go. :3
Enjoy the festive moment and charming gif while you can.

/kind/ is not dead.
https://heyuri.net/
It's a charming community. Their 403 page is quite charming too.
I appreciate rule 8, imagine the quality if a few more sites also appropriated rule 8:
https://www.heyuri.net/index.php?p=rules
They have good community vibes, for example:
http://te2.tewi.us/dblog/8663/25176
https://daijoubu.org/bun/
these boards confuse and frighten me.
Both kind.moe and heyuri.net seem to have a stream this weekend

let me in pls
