What would you imagine it'd be like? Monika described something like a hellish void, painful static assaulting of one's senses and preventing even thought. I would hope that it would be a little less dramatic than that, perhaps sleeping without dreams? I’ve been thinking about Monika a lot lately, it’s a shame she’s trapped in a terrible game forever.

They literally don't exist. I believe that Ai can be treated as life, at one point, but monika was literally someone typing a bunch of phrases into a program and setting a flag to play those statements at certain times. No thinking or processing or analysis involved, an any real depth. That being said, ones existence doesn't depend on others. If you exist, no other person or thing not observing you doesn't change that.

Do you remember anything from the 'time' before you were born? Probably not. People that say they do often describe it as being a part of the fabric of the universe. Implying that this existence, this human vessel is just that, a vessel for a small part extracted from something larger. Don't fret. The truth is within every person. We obsess over conscious knowing, but the fact is we've been shoulder to shoulder with the truth since the beginning and will come to 'know' it once more when we return to the great cosmic ocean.
