The initial question was "how to share without downloading because downloading is tedious"
Someone first responded with using the image url in the upload prompt, which still downloads the image into your browser's temp folder then uploads that, but that's besides the point. The main problem here is that doing that for every image is just as tedious as downloading them manually first then uploading them, as it's still
>rightclick image
>select copy url instead of save file
>click upload here
>paste url and hit upload
>go to next page and repeat 26 times
The wget solution only requires
>type wget into terminal
>copy the url of the first image into terminal
>change the 1.jpg into {1...NUMBEROFPAGES}.jpg
>everything is downloaded into a folder and can be batch-dragged into the upload box here
Thereby cutting out the tedium, which was the actual problem.
The only way to make uploading things here less tedious would be if PDF uploads worked, but last I checked they don't. Testing with the nhentai album the question was about.
What I don't understand is why the redditor kept complaining that wget "doesn't download, it transfers". Autistically adhering to the original question of how to not have to download, as you suggest, would mean being angry that it DOES download.
