Trying to make my own streamlined design for pirate-tan. Not sure if I should go for the 2 or 3 sided bicorn. Also I'm not sure if I should give her a peg leg or a hook hand because I feel like adding both would be excessive. If I gave her a peg leg I'd like to imagine she got her leg caught in a beartrap trying to escape elsie's farm but giving her a hook hand would be funnier with reaction images.

First of all this is amazing and I love it,  she's adorable. I'm personally fond of how the tricorne looks on her, but it might make it tougher to have dumb text on her hat. If she's to have a prosthetic I think the hook would be better as it could still be included for portraits and changed depending on her mood, like a heart hook maybe?

i'm no coloring expert but i decided to give coloring in ur pirate tan a go. the only thing that really stumped me was what color to give the sash that's underneath the belt. i made it white in the image but i don't really know if i'm a fan of it. if any pirates here have any feedback or ideas on the coloring feel free to lmk :0

Since her overcoat and undershirt are red and blue, I tried colorizing it around those hues. Here are the results.

White is more timeless and classic but the purple sash is appealing to me. It has a certain je ne sais quoi. The colors are very cute though and I love her hook hand!

finally got my hands on my new drawing tablet today and decided to doodle our pirate-tan and the elsie-esque swashbuckler a privateer above drew ( >>1506 )

sorry that i'm replying so late, but i do like the name jacy! the only thing is that jc does already have a board tan i think. so it might be a little confusing if we name pirate-tan after jc. plus i don't really know if the /yhh/ people want to associate themselves with the other communities jc has outside of this board. i could be wrong on that though idk
i've thought of the idea of naming pirate-tan after anne bonny who was a historically well known female pirate, but any other ideas or suggestions would be cool to hear as well
