hello, i'm the nona from 2c who is working on a new site. i feel like i'm further enough along that i can tell you my progress. sorry in advance for the reddit spacing but the post is long kek. some updates:
*1.* *i am not going to be using lynxchan (the same image board software 3c used) for a variety of reasons:* it has a history of recent exploits (even excluding the supposed 3c js exploit), it's been finicky to get set up, it doesn't seem to play nice with cloudflare, and it's meant to run on a linux distribution that i don't feel good about running
right now i've settled on using jschan for the time being (this site and many others use it). i like the features it has and it was one of the options that i was looking at in the beginning, so i'm going to run with it and if we need to make changes later we can
*2.* *i'm not going to be using the name "atlantis" because the domain name is too expensive.* i liked the name but it would cost somewhere in the realm of $70 to obtain. i'm going to run a new poll with some of the other names. like with the previous point, we can always get a new domain name later

1. get the site secure
2. get a domain name and get everything running
3. take certain steps to try and preserve my anonymity
4. bring the site up, link it here, and go from there
*here's my commitment to if/when i cannot host the site anymore:*
if i can't continue hosting for whatever reason, i'll put together and disclose a guide on what i think should be done next and how i proceeded with making the site (what software, how i set it up, resources, best places to host, etc.) so that you aren't left scrambling like we are now
